"Curry Creek" Original Watercolor Painting by Shirley Nootbaar
Original watercolor painting, framed 30" by 36" exterior dimensions.
Shirley Nootbaar has been painting the ridges, roads and ranches of the East Bay for 50 years. She exhibits at the Valley Art Gallery and is a regular contributor to Save Mount Diablo's Moonlight on the Mountain.
Many of the scenes have changed and evolved from quiet rural landscapes to busy urban developments. There is still subject matter left in our area that reflects the genre of the past and we are fortunate to have much natural open space saved. Mount Diablo's stunning dominance is a part of surrounding views and offers an outstanding image for artists.
